PHOENIX, June 19, 2014 — This spring Nelson Engineering was certified to perform TIG welding for UTC Aerospace Systems, a division of United Technologies Corporation, per PN05.15. In addition to our current welding capabilites including TIG welding of stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, high-temp alloys, and resistance welding–spot and seam of many aerospace materials, we are now certified to AWSD17.1. Our current list of approved OEM’s include Honeywell and Orbital Sciences.
